All reviews posted express the views of their respective authors. A film that is heavily reviewed does not mean that it is necessarily a film not to be seen, as each film can be more or less interesting depending on the points of view and passions of different viewers. This site is therefore intended to be only a guideline to facilitate the choice of watching a film.

It is possible to send your review to the website ReviewFilm.com from the specific link in the menu on the left. For each report and to contact the staff you can use the appropriate contact form.

3 Italian Movies You Must Watch

Italy has a lot more going for it than Pizza, Pasta, and Super Cars. The country is also home to some must-watch movies. So kick back with a slice of pizza, a glass of Italian wine, and stick on one of these three movies.

  1. Life is Beautiful (La Vita è Bella)

Life is Beautiful came out in 1997 and went on to win three Oscars. The story starts in 1930, with a shopkeeper falling for a local beauty from a nearby town. The two fall in love, have a son, and then they live happily until German forces arrive. From there, the movie follows the young Jewish family during the Holocaust. Through the use of humor and imagination, a young father attempts to protect his son from the tragedy. He does this by turning their time in a concentration camp into a game. Viewers can expect comedy, drama, and a touch of beautiful romance from this 1-hour 56-minute movie. The movie stars Roberto Benigni, Nicoletta Braschi, and Giorgio Cantarini.

  1. The Postman (Il Postino)

Ok, so, The Postman does have an English director. However, the screenplay was written by an Italian, and the movie is in Italian, so it makes the list. A poet, Paulo Neruda, moves to a small Italian island, and with his arrival comes a large amount of mail. More mail than the island has ever had to deal with. Then, the main character, the titular postman, is hired to personally deliver mail to Neruda. From here, the two become friends quickly. Neruda teaches Mario, the postman, how to write poetry the impress a local girl. This 1994 romantic comedy scored an Oscar, among many other awards.

  1. Cinema Paradiso (Nuovo Cinema Paradiso)

Cinema Paradiso, directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, follows an Italian family that owns a cinema in Mantua, Italy. The movie is loosely based on a real family, the Prottis. The story of the film is that of a young boy that turns to cinema as a way to escape from his life. Specifically, his life in a war-torn Sicilian village. The boy becomes a projectionist, with his mentor pushing him to become more. Of course, there is a beautiful love interest for the boy to lose over his dream of becoming a filmmaker. This 1988 movie is shown through flashbacks and features Philippe Noiret, Enzo Cannavale, and Antonella Attili.

  1. The Matrix 4

The Matrix 4, directed by Lana Wachowski, is a highly anticipated continuance of the sequel that depicts an artificial world with illusions maintained by the so called "Matrix" made by the Architect and dominated by machines. Read more about what is known in advance about The Matrix 4. We are again going to see Keanu Reeves starring as Neo (the chosen one), Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith and many more (except Laurence Fishburne)

Just like in movies, in reality technology is always advancing to new levels, never thought of before. Since Internet is the back-bone of communication and development of technology, routers and IP addresses are just as important as it is anything in the real life.

For example if you are using an insecure router, consider changing it's IP to an address based on the 192.168 B class network for preventive reasons. That way you can take advantage of the local area network benefits that a private IP provides. Along with that it would make it easy to use any shared devices at your home or office, such as printers, security systems etc. And naturally you would be able to stream movies in your LAN.
